Alabama DR teams on the road to New Orleans area

Three Alabama Baptist disaster relief cleanup and recovery teams left around 7 a.m. for the New Orleans area. The teams are headed to New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary to help with cleanup on campus.

A heavy equipment team left from Tallassee, a 10-volunteer team left from Cleburne Baptist Association and a 13-member team from Calhoun Baptist Association.

Two feeding unit teams also are on standby for potential deployment into Mississippi and/or Louisiana.
