Alabama DR teams complete work in New Orleans

The Alabama Baptist disaster relief teams have returned home from their work in New Orleans, on and around the seminary campus.

“We were privileged to help unload a trailer load of food at the Friendship House in New Orleans before we left,” said John Thomas, associate director of missions for Calhoun Baptist Association. “They have an awesome heart and passion for ministry. It was a great time for us to serve.

“The folks at the seminary were simply fantastic,” he added. “Their hospitality was awesome and we were all glad to have been a part of their cleanup.”
