“The Bible” miniseries premieres with 13.1 million viewers

BIRMINGHAM (TAB) — The History Channel’s “The Bible” 10-hour miniseries premiered March 3 with a reported 13.1 million viewers. Alabama Baptists were among those viewers. Brian Harris, state missionary for the Alabama Baptist State Board of Missions (SBOM), posed some questions about “The Bible” on the SBOM’s Facebook page during the show and received a lot of feedback from the SBOM’s Facebook followers. The SBOM’s Facebook page had received 240 likes and 87 comments about the television program March 3, and more people have continued to offer feedback since the show aired. The series will continue each Sunday night in March at 7 p.m. Central Time on the History Channel.
