American pastor held in Iran’s life ‘directly at risk’

After spending more than a year in Tehran’s brutal Evin Prison, American pastor Saeed Abedini has been transferred to one of Iran’s more obscure and dangerous prisons. He is now in one of the most dangerous sections of Rajai Shahr Prison, where violent prisoners such as murderers and rapists are held, according to the American Center for Law and Justice (ACLJ). The ACLJ called the transfer a “deeply disturbing development” and said it is a “move that puts Pastor Saeed’s life directly at risk.”
