HUNTSVILLE (TAB) — Michael Catt, pastor of Sherwood Baptist Church, Albany, Ga., was the first speaker of the evening session at the 2013 Alabama Baptist Pastors Conference. He shared from Ezekiel 37 with the message “Is Revival Possible?”
“We are a long way away from revival. But I believe the Bible is a book about revival. … We talk a lot about how we need to grow our churches and we need to plant churches. But the reason they are dying is because Christian people do not care about lost people. Our churches are full of people who don’t tell anyone about Christ,” Catt said. “We really need to have great Christ centered repentance, and then we can have a great Christ centered revival. Until we recognize dead bones (referring to Christians and churches who do not care about the lost) and call it what it is, we will never see revival. … It takes the Spirit of God to make dead bones alive.”
