NEW DELHI (Morning Star News) — Christians in India endured 151 officially reported attacks last year, including three cases of murder, according to a report released by the Evangelical Fellowship of India (EFI). But that number could in fact be much higher.
And Christians are fearing even more violence amid predictions a Hindu nationalist party will win the general election that begins April 7.
The assailants, the EFI report confirms, were frequently guided by members of Hindu nationalist groups.
