On eve of Ukraine election, Baptist seminary sends out grads

KIEV, Ukraine (BP) — On the eve of Ukraine’s presidential election, Kiev Theological Seminary, the Baptist seminary in Ukraine’s capital, will send out 40 new graduates May 24 to minister amid the country’s political crisis. Uncertainty awaits them, but so does opportunity, one seminary leader says. Joel Ragains, co-director of a church-planting faculty at the seminary, said the graduates’ biggest challenge is going to be “to continue to minister with all the problems that are going on where they are.”
