Massacre in predominantly Christian Gwoza, Nigeria said to leave 100 dead

JOS, Nigeria (MS, TAB) — An estimated 100 people in the predominately Christian town of Gwoza were killed by Islamic extremist group Boko Haram on Aug. 6, sources said.
The massacre began about 4 a.m., and in one village Christians had their throats slit while their hands were tied behind their backs, according to a Christian resident there.
It is estimated more than 300,000 Christians have been displaced from the greater area, forcing many to flee to neighboring Cameroon.
