LifeWay looks at advantages, disadvantages of possible sale of 14.5-acre property

NASHVILLE (TAB, BP) — In a letter to LifeWay Christian Resources’ staff, president and CEO Thom S. Rainer said the organization is looking at the best way to utilize its downtown Nashville offices and property. Rainer said LifeWay is working with a consulting firm to study the advantages and disadvantages of a possible sale. About 1,100 employees work in the downtown corporate offices, which has been located in Nashville for more than 120 years. Rainer cited demand for property in the downtown area and fewer employees now working at its corporate offices as reasons for studying a possible sale.
