Liberian Baptists stepping up efforts in Ebola battle

LIBERIA (ABP, TAB) — The Ebola outbreak that has taken more than 2,100 lives in five West African countries is being combated with heightened distributions of food, sanitation equipment and educational resources by Liberian Baptists. The Liberia Baptist Missionary and Educational Convention is calling for Liberians to change behaviors that encourage the spread of Ebola and to cooperate completely with all government measures. Efforts are especially concentrated in Bomi, Cape Mount and Margibi, where the virus has been spreading most rapidly.
