Pastors in Iran Could Face Death Penalty

IRAN (TAB, Morning Star News) — According to human rights groups, three pastors in Iran are facing charges that could lead to the death penalty. All charges are a result from an “unprecedented” crackdown on converts from Islam. Pastors are being charged with either “Moharebeh,” which is “warring against God,” or “Mofsed-fel-arz,” which is “spreading corruption on Earth.” Each pastor was arrested in a raid and their whereabouts are unknown at this time.
