New mission center in Dallas taps Bill O’Brien as first executive

DALLAS (ABP, TAB) — Gaston Christian Center in Dallas named Bill O’Brien, a Baptist missiologist, the first executive director Sept. 18. Gaston Christian Center is a ministry project founded by Gaston Oaks Baptist Church and Wilshire Baptist Church, both in Dallas, whose goal is to further missionary efforts in the city. The center hosts several international congregations and plans to network with others in the future.
