BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (BP, TAB) — While the Obama administration said it will not agree to defund Planned Parenthood following moral outrage over videos of its executives discussing the sales of harvested fetal parts, U.S. Attorney General Loretta Lynch said the Department of Justice would “review all information.”
Media outlets close to the investigation were unable to clarify what exactly would be reviewed — PP or the Center for Medical Progress, the pro-life organization that released the videos.
The promise to investigate came after 49 members of the Senate sent a letter to Health and Human Services Secretary Sylvia Burwell to investigate PP.
The Alabama Baptist will continue to update the Top Story of the Day as information becomes available.
