Decatur church suffers serious damage in fire

DECATUR (TAB) — Smoke from the fire that consumed part of a church in Morgan Baptist Association could be seen for miles before it was put out Nov. 30.

Light of Life Church, Decatur, lost its kitchen and classrooms in the blaze, and it is planning to meet for Dec. 4 services at Bellview Baptist Church, Decatur, reported WAFF News 48. Church members told local news sources they plan to rebuild.

The church is about 40 years and has approximately 15 members, according to WAFF News 48.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
