An enduring legacy

In 1843, Gen. E.D. King, one of the founders of The Alabama Baptist, donated space in his law office in Marion, Alabama, to house the new publication. The building was moved to the campus of nearby Judson College in 1997 and serves as a historical reminder of the important role the Marion community played in Alabama Baptist history.
